名前からしておどろおどろしい雰囲気を放つ、京都屈指の心霊スポット。「タクシー怪談」というホラーストーリーが残る場所ですが、いったいどのような話なのでしょうか。
京都のDeepスポット
様々な伝説や、血の歴史がある京都。科学の発達した現代においても、ときたま不思議な出来事が起こるそう。心霊スポットと呼ばれる所も数多く存在しています。
そんなちょっとディープなスポットの１つ、深泥池(みどろがいけ・みぞろがいけ)へ行ってみました。
深泥池があるのは、京都市の北部。地下鉄烏丸線の「北山」駅から徒歩10分ほど。近くには「京都府立植物園」「陶板名画の庭」「太田神社」などがあります。
タクシー怪談とは
深泥池にはいくつかの怪談がありますが、一番有名なのは「タクシー怪談」ではないでしょうか。
ディティールはいろいろなパターンがありますが、だいたいこんな感じの話です。この話を聞いた際、そんなに怖いとは思いませんでした。人間に危害を加えたり脅かしたりといった要素が感じられないからでしょうか。
女性が幽霊だとしたら、幽霊もタクシーで移動するというのがちょっと面白い。この幽霊は別の土地から深泥池に来たのか、それとも深泥池に帰ってきたのか。そこが気になります。
情報を分析してみよう
ここからは、幽霊の正体に迫るため、ネットで拾った情報をいちいち考察していきます。
タクシーに乗っていたのは、この女性の霊かもしれません。ということは、どこかにお出かけして深泥池に帰るのにタクシーを利用したということになりますね。
どこへ行ってきたの？もう少し情報があればいろいろと想像が膨らむのですが。例えば、時期とか。
新聞に載ったらしいです。本当でしょうか？でも、もし本当なら詳しい日時がわかるはず。もう少し調べてみよう。様々なブログやwebサイトを見ていると、「新聞に載った」とまでは書かれていますが、いつの新聞なのか詳しい情報はでてきません。
そんな中、ついに見つけました。
若干信憑性の低いところで見つけたのですが、とても具体的な情報なので信じて進めてみましょう。東名高速が全線開通し、アポロ11号が月に行った、僕らの生まれてくるずっとずっと前のお話でした。10月7日の新聞に載るということは、おそらく10月6日の出来事。

・千葉県松戸市役所が、市民の苦情にすぐ対応する「すぐやる課」を設置。
・『NTV紅白歌のベストテン』放送開始。
この中で京都に関わりありそうなのって、歌のベストテンくらいでしょうか・・・。歌のベストテン見るために京都市街まで行ったのでしょうか？念のため天気予報も調べてみたら、その頃の京都はずっと晴れでした。「びしょ濡れだったのは雨に濡れていたから」なんてオチはなさそうです。
広がる物語
新しい情報が入りました。
これが本当なら、深泥池で自ら命を絶ったわけではなく、病院から家に帰りたかっただけなのかもしれません。
本気を出せば身元を調べることができてしまうかもしれません。そろそろ都市伝説の範囲を飛び出してくる気がしてきましたので、この辺で調査終了。つづきは次の方に託しますね。
穏やかな表情の池
さてさて、加工した写真で演出してしまいましたが、実のところはとても穏やかな池。
自然がとても豊かで、様々な動植物が生息しております。氷河期からの生き残りとされる生物もおり、「深泥池生物群集」として国の天然記念物にも指定されております。
以前は池のまわりの歩道を散策もできましたが、2025年3月時点ではフェンスによって閉鎖されていました。
近くには住宅地もあり、深泥池の隣の公園からは子供達の遊ぶ声が聞こえてきます。 とても恐ろしいような場所ではありませんので、近くに来ることがありましたら立ち寄ってみて、タクシー怪談について考察してみるのはいかがでしょうか。
